  1. 1. Eligibility

    Graduate students (newly admitted, current, or those expected to complete coursework) for the 2026 Spring Semester are eligible to apply.
    KGSP students including undergraduate students may apply.

※ Newly admitted students without a student ID number: please refer to Section 6 below.

(*Students selected through separate procedures such as Law School, Graduate School of Life Sciences scholarship recipients, KGSP Korean Language Program students, and KOICA do not have to apply.)

 

 

  1. 2. Residence Period

  1. 6-month stay: February 23rd, 2026 (Mon) – August 22, 2026 (Sat), total 180 nights

  2. 4-month stay: February 23rd, 2026 (Mon) – June 24, 2026 (Sun), total 121 nights

 

 

  1. 3. Online Application Period
    January 5, 2026 (Mon) 11:00 – January 8, 2026 (Thur) 17:00 (KST)

 

 

  1. 4. Result Announcement
    January 16, 2026 (Fri) 17:00 (KST)

 

 

  1. 5. Payment Period
    From the result announcement date until January 25, 2026 (Sun) (KST)

 

※ Dormitory fees must be paid in full in a single payment. Partial payments may result in disadvantages regarding admission.

 

※ When making the payment, please ensure that the sender’s name matches the applicant’s name. If the applicant’s name is not indicated, the payment cannot be verified, and the application may be considered as withdrawn.
If more than three business days have passed since the transfer and your payment status still shows as "unpaid," you must check and confirm the issue.

 

 

  1. 6. Application Procedure for New Graduate Students without a Student ID
    (Law School, Life Sciences scholarship recipients, and KGSP Korean Language Program students are excluded.)
    (Graduate students who have completed coursework must also follow this procedure through the external login page.)

 

 Email samahoro@korea.ac.kr with the following information:

1) Full name (to be used for login)

2) Application number

3) Email address

 

After registration(you cannot log in before this), use the External User tab on the website to log in and apply for the appropriate session.

※ Foreign students selected on a first-come-first-served basis must send the email before the application period to create an external user ID.

 

  1. 7. Requirement(s)

  a. One copy of a tuberculosis test result taken within 90 days prior to the official initial move-in date

  ※ Current residents must also submit if their stay exceeds one year.

  b. Verification of two doses of measles vaccination (for entrants from overseas only)

  c. Submission Method: Submit in paper form at the lobby on the 1st floor on the day of move-in.

  (Copies are also acceptable.)
