First-year Students

Students whose registered address entered in their application form for Korea University admission is farthest from Korea University will be selected. (The address must be official as in their Resident Registration. For students who graduated from a high school in countries other than Korea, the address of their high school will be considered as their address.) Students admitted to Korea University via Foreign Residents’ Admission Program (students who finished all their education in a country other than Korea, entering KU in the Fall Semesters) may be admitted to the Frontier Dormitory if there are vacancies. In cases where vacancies are outnumbered by applicants, however, their total grades for admission will be considered.

Non-first-year Students

Around 30% of the total quota is assigned to re-entering students in their second year, including currently enrolled Gaeunsa Temple Scholarship recipients. Students with the highest point will be admitted, which is calculated as (GPA of the previous semester) - (penalty points) * 0.1
