Recently, we have identified cases where individuals have been sending emails impersonating Anam Dormitory, including false information regarding dormitory admission.

If you receive any emails related to dormitory matters, please make sure to verify that the sender’s email address is the official Anam Dormitory email address or the email address of the designated staff member.

To protect your personal information and prevent any potential damage, please exercise extra caution when checking emails.

Anam Dormitory

※ This notice is for international undergraduate students and exchange/visiting students.

1. Eligibility

Target: Graduate students for the Fall Semester of 2026 (New, Continuing, and Completed/Expected to Complete status). For KGSP (Global Korea Scholarship) students, undergraduate students are also included.

Exclusions: Special Graduate Schools are excluded.

※ Exchange/visiting students, please visit "2026 FALL SEMESTER International Dormitory(For Exchange/Visiting Students)"

Note: Law School, Graduate School of Life Sciences Scholarship students, KGSP Korean Language trainees, and KOICA students are NOT eligible as they follow separate selection procedures.

  A. Continuing students with a student ID number

  → Log in to the Korea University Portal using your Portal ID to apply.

         B. New Students without a Student ID Number

  → Send an email to samahoro@korea.ac.kr including your Full Name, Examination Number, and Email Address that you will use to log in.

※ The administrator registers these manually, and a confirmation email will be sent individually once registration is complete.

After the administrator completes your registration (you cannot log in before this), log in via the "External User (외부사용자)" tab and apply for your corresponding session.

※ Since international student selection is on a first-come, first-served basis, international applicants must send this email to the administrator to create an external user ID BEFORE the application period opens.

2. Selection Criteria

  A. Anam Global House: Please refer to the official website: https://dorm.korea.ac.kr/front/content/15

  B. CJ I-House(Studio type)

  1st Priority: Current residents (regardless of nationality)

  2nd Priority: International students (First-come, first-served)

  3rd Priority: Domestic students (Based on geographical distance)

3. Application & Payment Period

  A. Application Period: July 13, 2026 (Mon) 11:00 ~ July 15, 2026 (Wedn) 17:00 (KST)

  B. Results Announcement & Payment: July 21, 2026 (Tues) 17:00 ~ July 27, 2026 (Mon) 23:55 (KST)

  ※ Important Notes on Payment:

  Dormitory fees must be paid in one lump sum. Paying in installments may result in disadvantages regarding your residency.

When making the wire transfer, the sender's name must be the applicant's official name. If the applicant's name cannot be verified, your admission may be canceled.

If your payment status still displays as "Unpaid (미납)" after 3 business days from the transfer date, please contact the administration immediately to verify.

4. Period of Stay

  A. 6 Months: August 26, 2026 (Wed) ~ February 14, 2027 (Sun) | Total of 172 nights

  B. 4 Months: August 26, 2026 (Wed) ~ December 28, 2026 (Sun) | Total of 124 nights

  ※ For CJ I-HOUSE (Studio Type), you can only apply for 4 months initially. Extensions for the vacation period can be requested separately later.

  ※ For Global House, you can apply for either 6 months or 4 months. However, duplicate applications for both Global House and CJ I-HOUSE (Studio Type) are not permitted.

6. Dormitory Fees

※ Current residents who have been staying in the dorm for more than 1 consecutive year must also submit a new test result.

  B. Measles Vaccination Certificate: Proof of 2 doses of the measles vaccine (Applicable only to arrivals from overseas).

  C. Submission Method: Submit a physical paper copy (photocopies are accepted) to the 1st-floor lobby desk on your move-in day.

You can now pay your dormitory fees via Flywire.
