CJ, Anam I-house information

 

*Housing fees include electricity, water, heating, gas, internet service, and local phone usage.

* Limited to professors and researchers with invitations from Korea University.

* Deposit will only be charged for long-term (over 1 month) residency (150% of monthly fee).

* Effective on March 1, 2010.

* 10% off discount will be offered for residents staying more than 7 days.

(NOTICE : If you want to cancel the assigned room, please send us a cancellation email 7 days    prior to your check-in date. Otherwise, a cancellation fee-10% of your rental fee in total- will be charged. In addition, you should pay your rent after your check-in date.)

 

※ 안암학사는 기숙사이므로 외부인의 출입을 엄금하는 바, 방을 직접 보여드리지 않습니다. 자세한 사항은 안암학사 홈페이지에서 건물별 조감도를 확인해주시기 바랍니다.

※ CJ/Anam International House faculty housing strictly prohibits strangers' entrance because it is a dormitory facility. If you want further information, please take a look at buildings' detail on our website.

 

Reservation procedures

 

Q1.           신청은 어떻게 하나요?

How can I apply?

 

A1.           신청은 온라인 상으로는 불가능하며, samahoro@korea.ac.kr로 이메일을 보내주시면 신청서를 보내드립니다.

On-line application is impossible. If you want to make a reservation, please contact us by email (samahoro@korea.ac.kr) or phone (82-2-3290-1555). We will send you an application form and inform you about the reservation procedure.

 

Q2.           신청 전에 방이 가능한지를 먼저 알고 싶은데, 어떻게 해야 하나요?

How can I know if there is room vacant for me?

 

A2.           신청하신 날짜에 방이 비었는지 알고 싶으시다면, samahoro@korea.ac.kr이나 02-3290-1555로 전화주시기 바랍니다. 방의 사용 가능 여부는 변동성이 있으므로, 전화로 문의주시는 것이 가장 정확합니다.

If you want to know about room vacancy on the date you requested for, email the office samahoro@korea.ac.kr or call us -  +82-2-3290-1555.  Room  vacancy  can  change depending on the situation.

 

Q3.           신청서 작성 시 빈 칸을 꼭 다 채워 넣어야 하나요?

Should I fill in all blanks before I submit my application?

 

A3.                      *표시가 된 부분은 필수 입력 사항이므로, 꼭 채워 넣으시고, 다른 칸은 정보가 없을 경우, 비워두셔도 됩니다.

*Mark blanks must be filled in. So please  fill in the blanks with a *mark,  and other blanks  can be left empty if there is no information to provide.

 

Q4.           홈페이지에 구비 서류를 안암 학사로 송부하라고 나와 있는데, 단기 사용자의 경우에도 해당되나요?

Base on the information on the website, it requires sending related documents to the International Dormitory does this applies to short term guest as well?

 

A4.           1달 미만의 단기 사용자 또한 구비서류(여권 사본, 교원 임용 증명서 등)를 제출하셔야 합니다. 구비 서류는

입사신청서와 함께 samahoro@korea.ac.kr로 송부하시면 됩니다.

Q5.           갑자기 일정이 변경되어, 예약을 취소하고 싶은데, 어떻게 해야 하나요?

How can I cancel my reservation?

 

A5.           입실하시기 전, 최소한 7일 전에는 취소 통보를 해주셔야 하며, 취소는 이메일(samahoro@korea.ac.kr)이나 전화상으로 가능합니다. 그렇지 않을 경우 사용료의 10%를 위약금으로 지불하여야합니다.

You should send a cancellation e-mail 7 days prior to your check in date to the office (samahoro@korea.ac.kr). A cancellation fee -10% of your rental fee in total- will be charged. In addition, you should pay your rent after your check-in date.

 

Q6.           신청한 내용이 변경되어 수정을 하고 싶은데, 어떻게 해야 하나요?

Is there a way I can change my application contents, what should I do?

 

A6.           현재, 신청서를 수정할 기능은 관리자에게만 부여되어 있습니다. 다시 신청하시거나, 수정이 필요한 내용을 홈페이지에 안내되어 있는 samahoro@korea.ac.kr 로 보내시면 됩니다.

You can either cancel your application and re-apply or send an e-mail to samahoro@korea.ac.kr regarding the contents that you want to change.

 

 

Rental fee Payment

 

Q1.           신청 후 사용료를 바로 지불해야 하나요?

Do I have to pay for the residence fee immediately after applying for the residence?

 

A1.           예약확인서와 청구서를 같이 신청서에 기입하셨던 이메일로 받으시기 때문에, 청구서를 참조하셔서 입실 전까지 청구서에 표기된 금액을 안암 학사 계좌(하나은행 391-910001-03204 예금주명: 고려대학교 안암 학사)로 납부하시면 됩니다.

You will get a reservation confirmation letter with the bill through your e-mail. Check your e-mail and wire transfer the residence hall fee to our bank account before you arrive here. (Hana Bank, BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER: 391-910001-03204, Recipients-Korea university Anam residence).

 

Q2.           장기 사용자의 경우, 보증금도 내야 한다고 나와 있는데, 나중에 돌려받을 수 있나요?

We found out that long-term guest also have to pay the deposit, can we take it back?

 

A2.           1달 이상의 장기 사용자이신 경우, 1달 사용료의 2배에  해당하는  보증금을  납부하셔야 합니다. 보증금은 체크아웃 후 사용하신 방의 상태를 점검한 뒤, 아무런 이상 없이, 체크인전과 같은 방의 상태라면, 전액 환불해드리고 있습니다. 체크아웃전이나 체크아웃 시에 환불받으실 한국에 있는 은행의 계좌 정보나 거주지가 해외라서 한국에 있는 은행의 계좌가 없으시다면 Money Order를 받으실 주소의 정보를 알려주시면 됩니다.

If you are a long-term

guest who is going to reside more than a month, have to pay the deposit which is double as the monthly rental fee. If there are no broken facilities or missing households we pay back whole amount of money after  inspection.

You may give us your bank account number during your stay or checking out day in order If you do not have a Korean bank account, we can transfer abroad, but some charge might be imposed.

 

Check in & Check out

 

Q1.           체크인은 어떻게 해야 하나요?

How to do check-in?

 

A1.           체크인은 오후 3시부터 가능하며, CJ International House 1층 안내데스크로 오셔서, Key를 받아 입실하시면 됩니다.

Check-in is available since 3 p.m., you may come to the  front desk  1st floor in CJ I-House, take your room key.

 

Q2.           인원수에 따라 Key를 발급 받을 수 있나요?

Can we get room keys according to the number of guests?

 

A2.           추가 발급받으시는 Key마다 보증금 \10,000을 지불하셔야합니다.

We charge ￦10,000 per a key so you need to pay extra to Hana Bank 391-910001-03204 with the sender's name, "ROOM NUMBER, CARD KEY"

 

Q3.           체크아웃은 어떻게 해야 하나요?

How to do check-out?

 

A3.           체크아웃 시간은 오전 11:00까지이며, 1층 안내 데스크에 Key를 반납하시면 됩니다.

You need to check-out before 11:00 a.m., and return your room key.

 

Q4.           체크아웃을 하고 나서, 며칠 후 다시 체크인을 하는데도 짐을 모두 빼내야 하나요?

Do we have to vacate all belongings even if we check-in again only in a few days?

 

A4.           죄송합니다만, 일단 체크아웃 절차를 밟으시면, 방에 있는 짐을 모두 가지고 가셔야  하며, 체크아웃 청소를 하는 관계로 방에 놔두신 물건은 보관해 드리기가 어렵습니다. 또한, 보관하는 짐에 대한 분실의 위험이 있기 때문에, 짐을 따로 보관해 드리지 않고 있습니다.

Sorry but if you are on the procedure of checking-out, you have to take out all your belongings. Since we are doing the check-out cleaning when a guest move out from the room, it is very difficult to charge  of a guest’s belongings in the room. Also by reason of  the security, we do not provide custody service.

 

 

Staying in CJ, Anam I-house

 

Q1.           방에서 노트북을 사용하고 싶은데, 가능한가요?

Can we use laptop in the room?

 

A1.           방마다 전화기 옆에 사용하실 수 있는 IP 주소와 전화번호 등이 나와 있는 안내문이 있습니다. 안내문을 참고로 방마다 설치되어 있는 LAN Cable을 이용하시고, 노트북의 IP설정 상태를 변경하시면, 유선 인터넷 사용이 가능합니다.

There is a direction on the desk next to the phone about the IP address and telephone number. Use the LAN cable  placed in the room and change  the IP address on your laptop   as you can find on the direction.

 

Q2.           방마다 세면도구가 비치되어 있나요?

Do you place a train case in the room?

 

A2.           방마다 일회용품을 비치해 놓고 있지는 않습니다. 수건, 비누, 샴푸, 칫솔, 치약 등은 가져오시거나, 남학생 기숙사동에 있는 편의점에서 구입할 수 있습니다.

We do not place a train case in the room. You need to bring your own washing kits including the towel. you can buy it at the convenience store.

 

 

Conference Room Rental

 

Q1.           CJ International House내에 있는 회의실이나 세미나실을 사용하고 싶은데, 어떻게 예약해야 하나요?

How can I make a reservation for using the conference room or seminar room in the CJ International House?

 

A1.           신청은 온라인 상으로는 불가능하며, samahoro@korea.ac.kr로 이메일을 보내주시면 신청서를 첨부드리겠습니다.

On-line application is not available. If you want to make a reservation, please contact us by email (samahoro@korea.ac.kr). We will send you an application form afterwards.

 

Q2.           회의실이나 세미나실에서 인터넷이나 빔 프로젝터 등을 사용할 수 있나요?

Can I use the internet or projector in the conference room or seminar room?

 

A2.           인터넷은 회의실과 세미나실 모두 사용 가능하지만, 빔 프로젝터는 회의실에만 설치되어 있습니다. 화이트보드는 예약 시에 말씀하시면 준비해드리겠습니다.

 

You can use the internet in both rooms but the projector is only installed in the conference room. And if you need a white board, please tell us when you make the reservation so that we can get it ready before hand.

 

Q3.           회의실이나 세미나실에 음식물 반입이 가능한가요?

Can I bring food in the conference room or seminar room?

 

A3.           회의실과 세미나실에는 규정상 음식물 반입이 불가능합니다. 음료나 생수 정도는 반입이 가능하시나, 스낵 종류나 식사는 반입 하실 수 없습니다.

You are not allowed to bring any food or snack in the rooms by official regulations. Only beverages are allowed in the rooms.
